OMICRON – a stylish milestone in terms of cargo load
With the OMICRON roadshow truck, JUMBO has once again achieved a milestone in vehicle construction, and once again provided confirmation of our many years of development experience in the field of lightweight construction.
With an enthusiastic “Perfect job!” Peter Hosp, Marketing Communication Manager at OMICRON, is visibly excited by the roadshow truck.
And at JUMBO, after the last weigh-in, we added something else: instead of the 911 kg cargo load requested, innovative lightweight construction technology has turned it into more than 1,200 kg! As a result, the new “OMICRON classroom on wheels” began its European roadshow tour in August 2013 with an extended exhibition space – and, thanks to state-of-the-art extension technology on the basis of a 7.5-ton vehicle, is able to cross even the narrowest Alpine passes. The company, based in Vorarlberg (Austria), is using the self-reliant to deliver on-site product training courses with 12-20 participants.
